I Can See How Happy They Make Each Other
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to get married on December 4. As leaked pictures of their wedding invitation and details about their outfits are circulating on the internet, Nagarjuna Akkineni opened up about his would-be daughter-in-law, expressing his admiration for her during an interview with The New Indian Express. He also heaped praises on the actress for her career choices. Besides, he also gave his nod of approval on her relationship with his son Naga Chaitanya, adding that they make each other happy.
During the interview, Nagarjuna revealed that he had known Sobhita long before she started dating Naga Chaitanya. Complementing her for her life choices, the senior actor remarked, “She is a lovely girl, and she too is someone who lives life on her own terms.”
He also applauded her career choices. “She could have done any kind of films or series, but she decides what to do with her career. She is very peaceful and content with her choices,” he shared.
Sharing his opinion on welcoming her as his to-be daughter-in-law, he added, “I have received a lot of warmth from her, and I can see how happy they make each other.”
Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya got engaged in August, sharing the heartwarming pictures on Instagram. The wedding festivities later kicked off in Visakhapatnam, with the Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchatam ceremony, for which Sobhita chose a traditional saree and gold jewellery, staying true to her roots.
Recently a report stated that Sobhita is not following the run-of-the-mill celebrity wedding template where actresses choose designer wear for their big days. She is personally curating everything and has picked a traditional Kanjivaram silk saree with real gold zari as her wedding outfit. She is also getting a white khadi saree woven in Ponduru.
The IANS report quoted a source close to the actress, “Sobhita Dhulipala has picked a beautiful Kanjivaram silk saree with real gold zari while shopping with her mother. She’s also getting a simple white khadi saree woven in Ponduru, Andhra Pradesh, along with a matching set for Chaitanya, following tradition. Sobhita is personally involved in every detail, adding a special and heartfelt touch to her big day.”
