Ajay Devgn And Rakul Preet Singh’s Romantic Comedy Gets A New Release Date
De De Pyaar De had a decent outing at the movies back when it was released on May 16, 2019. Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu played the lead roles in the movie. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for updates on its sequel.
Unfortunately, the release date has been getting postponed for a while now. The makers have now announced that the film will be released on November 14, 2025, and not on May 1, 2025, as initially planned.

The latest post reads, “#DeDePyaarDe2 will be released on 14th November 2025. The film is directed by @anshul3112, produced by #BhushanKumar, #KrishanKumar, #LuvRanjan & @gargankur82, and written by @tarun.j.85 & Luv Ranjan.”
R Madhavan is also rumoured to be a part of the sequel. This will mark his second collaboration with Mr Devgn, post their intense outing in Shaitaan.
Madhavan, who is usually known to pick serious roles, is said to be excited to be a part of the romantic-comedy.
As for the sequel, the details state that it will pick off from where the first part had ended. This tale of a girl in her 20s (Rakul Preet Singh) falling for a man in his 50s (Ajay Devgn) is about to get funnier and as chaotic as possible. Tabu essays the role of Ajay Devgn’s ex-wife.
The film addresses relevant subject matters such as complex relationships, societal judgments, and the challenges that come with it.
